Unicode Superscript Generator
Convert everyday text into real Unicode superscript characters that can be copied into documents, messages, profiles, and posts.
Write it once. Place it anywhere.
Converts supported Unicode superscript characters. Characters without a standard variant stay unchanged. Some tiny-text characters may look uneven in this preview. Your copied text is Unicode, but its appearance depends on the destination font. Newer characters such as 𐞥 (q, U+107A5) may appear as a missing-glyph box in unsupported fonts.
Unicode superscript character table
This table lists the supported digits, lowercase Latin letters, and symbols in this generator, not every modifier letter in Unicode. Characters not listed remain unchanged.

Superscript q: 𐞥 (U+107A5)
Lowercase q converts to 𐞥, MODIFIER LETTER SMALL Q, defined in Unicode 14.0, Latin Extended-F. Unicode 14.0 was released on September 14, 2021.
𐞥 is one Unicode character, even though JavaScript stores it as two UTF-16 code units. Some fonts and older apps lack this glyph and may show a box or a fallback shape. Copying preserves U+107A5, but check the destination font; use ordinary q or editor formatting when it is not supported.
Unicode, not formatting
These raised characters are individual Unicode symbols rather than CSS or rich-text formatting. That is why you can copy them from this page and paste them into most apps without losing the superscript effect.

Unicode superscript is useful in messages, profile fields, short labels, filenames, and other places that accept plain text. A copied ² remains a raised-two character even when the destination does not have a formatting toolbar.
For the examples below, choose Formulas & numbers in the main generator. This page's converter uses Tiny text and maps each supported character individually.
| Input in Formulas & numbers | Unicode output | Use |
|---|---|---|
x^2 | x² | Short exponent |
1st | 1ˢᵗ | Compact ordinal |
6.02e23 | 6.02 × 10²³ | Scientific notation |
For a formal paper or a long equation, use the superscript or equation feature in the editor. That gives the document control over layout and accessibility. For a plain-text field, the Unicode characters above are the practical choice. If you want compact text that stays on the baseline, try the Small Text Generator.
